Milbank Historic House is a 2-story Guest House experience with a grand parlor and dining room shared by all the guests.
Built in 1836 as a Banking House – this Greek Revival mansion has a Doric Columned façade on the front and back. Wide entrance doors, tall shuttered windows and 13’ ceilings lends to the grandeur of a plantation era home. Sitting in quiet splendor and furnished with period antiques, it now serves the area as a Bed & Breakfast and event venue.
One Guest room is on the ground floor accommodating 2. Two more Guests rooms are upstairs, one accommodates 2; the other is a 5-room Gallery Suite which accommodates 4. Capacity of the entire house is 8 persons, however we will accept an additional two guests at a fee of $50 per person. Absolute total capacity is 10 guests.
Settle in for a memorable visit and allow this historic treasure to speak of times past, when life was not lived at the frantic pace of today. Milbank Historic House is located 30 miles north of Baton Rouge, LA in the area
known as Plantation Country in the city limits of Jackson on Bank Street, ½ block
